At THRIVE Music Studio, I encourage musicianship and wellness through the facilitation of musical opportunities that promote learning, discovery, enjoyment, creativity, growth, development and healing. With over 20 years of experience, my background as a music therapist, special educator and music educator lays a well-paved road for my work with individuals of all ages and ability levels. I believe that every person is impacted by music and each appreciates and benefits from music’s offerings. Please feel free to contact me - I'd love to design a plan for music to help you THRIVE, too!
There are many things for which I am most grateful. I have had many adventures and experiences, been privileged to have good friends, and work with a lot of wonderful people along the way. I have learned a lot in life about what matters and what doesn't. Being a wife and mom are precious to me and I am most thankful for my husband, daughter and our two goofy dogs who provide much love, encouragement & entertainment!
While music has definitely been a healing force for me throughout my life and I enjoy it greatly, I also make time for health and creative outlets. When I am not teaching music or working as a music therapist, I love to hike in the mountains, go on road trips, dance in the kitchen, crochet, meet folks for coffee, read books, family walks with our dogs and riding my bicycle.
